Cultural Festival
There are many cultural festivals in The Gambia and South Senegal with dance and music.
Ousman is happy to visit them with you. He can combine this with day excursions, multi-day excursions, etc.
Some famous festivals are the Kartong Festival, Roots festival in Bakau / Banjul and the Abene festival in South Senegal. Ousman adapts the trip to your wishes.

Abene Festival
The festival is held each year Abéné of tens of venuent artists from throughout the region and often in neighboring countries.
We can assiter for a week in many shows African percussion and traditional dances.
Sports tournaments are also held.
Colossal fighters clash in African traditional wrestling. And of course the football tournament, and the two national sports will represent.
The atmosphere is typical with supporters thousand colors that sing and dance on andiablés percussion rhythms.
In the evening is the big show with proffessionnelles troops of high quality.
Discos of the village take the baton for night owls.

International Roots Festival Banjul
The International Roots Festival is designed to encourage peoples of African Descent who reside within the Diaspora to further discover, re-affirm and re-embrace their ancestral identity through confronting a physical past.
We invite you to become associated with this biennial event which is growing in steady numbers and reaching out to people residing within member States of the EU, The Caribbean Islands, The united states of America, Canada and Latin America who wish to fulfil an ambition of returning to their "roots" and to experience the life and cultures of their people with whom they have been separated for hundreds of years.
For previous Diaspora Africans who have attended and participated on previous festivals and tours, their experiences have been overwhelming and many return to the UK or the US with a new lease of life, a vibrant positive outlook, a spirit to succeed and an iron-willed conviction to return to The Gambia with friends and relatives as soon as possible.
Kartong Festival
A celebration of local and international music and culture, strengthening local traditions and lifestyles, creating both community and international bonds through music and the arts”
Kartong is on the southerly border of the Gambia adjacent to the Casamance region of Senegal, within easy reach of Banjul International Airport. It is one of the oldest and most unspoilt coastal villages of the Gambia and is within walking distance of soft sandy Atlantic beaches.
The main programme takes place in the grounds of St Martins School right in the centre of the village. The festival includes performances in local lodges within easy reach of Kartong as well as events and workshops which take place throughout the weekend in the village itself.
The whole village of Kartong and the Festival Organising Committee invites you to share the beauty and hospitality for which the area is renowned and to have an exhilarating festival experience you will never forget.
