Here’s a selection of the excursions, activities and adventures Ousman can arrange for you.
You can decide exactly what you want to do and when you want to do it when you meet him. If you don’t find what you want on this list of standard trips, let him know and he’ll arrange everything for you. Your Gambian holiday is not off-the-peg! It’s made-to-measure and so it will be everything you hope for and more!
Prices
Ousman charges are often less than the rates charged by travel organizations and hotels. Each excursion is a package deal for one to then people, so you can divide it by the number of people you’re with. Six of us went on a city tour for 5500 Dalasi = 87€, this is about 14.5€ per person for the whole day, including transport. A guide your hotel recommends, would charge 30 - 40€ per person!
However, each excursion will be made in consultation with the guest

Payment
Trustees can not! Ousman never asks for a prepayment. At the end of the excursion you can pay the amount to Ousman. Ousman considers one thing important: satisfaction. He will therefore do his utmost to ensure that you have a successful excursion and are completely satisfied. Afterwards, you can handle the finances with Ousman. There are some excursions with a small deposit on the day of departure or one day before departure. This deposit will be spent on, among other things, petrol for the jeep.

Kachikally Crocodile Pool
The sacred Kachikally Crocodile Pool with approximately 100 crocodiles has become a major attraction for tourists in The Gambia in recent years.
Abuko national reserve
Abuko National Reserve is a 6-acre mini-forest with a hiking trail. This forest with its water is a magnet for a wide variety of tropical bird species, mammals and reptiles.
The crocodile pool is located in the Abuko National Reserve. This means that the Abuko National Reserve is always done together with the excursion to the Crocodile Pool. This is just part of the excursion at Ousman.
Roots Tour (James Island)
On this tour you’ll follow in the footsteps of Alex Haley to see where the legend of Kunta Kinte has its roots
South Gambia
On this one-day trip to the south of Gambia, traveling in an open jeep so that you can see the beautiful landscape along the way, we’ll make five stops.
Senegal Fathala Game reserve
About 12 km/7.5 mi north of the Gambian border with Senegal lies Fathala Park.

Serekunda Market
Serekunda is actually nine villages that have grown together to form the largest city in Gambia, with a population of 337,000.
Its market, a major tourist attraction.
Bijilo Forest Park
Bijilo Forest Park is a small rainforest reserve located on a cliff on the beach right next to Kololi, 12 kilometers from Banjul.
City Tour – 5 stops in 1 day
This is a one-day excursion that includes:
- Monkey Park in Bijilo Forest Park
- Kachikally Crocodile Pool
- Serekunda Market
- Batik factory
- Lunch in a Gambian restaurant.
It’s a full program but, if you have only a few days, it’s a way to see the highlights of this part of the country.
